A tennis friend was topically taking up residence in a new commercial venture in the area's largest Tennis facility. Photosmith Creative thought it a suitable design project for a promotional vehicle.
Knowing that both a racket and re-stringing service would be part of the franchise, obscure resource material was used both on-line and in the Photosmith Creative catalogue of images.
Some experimental photography carried out by a group of us at a local agency in Newcastle supported the project. In a darkened room we recorded lit objects in motion and one image stood out for this Photosmith Creative presentation.
Allied to another source and carefully calibrated in tennis colouring with additional experimental typeface, the finished product is vibrant and has commercial potential.
A photo shoot in Whitley Bay for a removal company provided lots of busy images of the team at work on a domestic removal.
The initial premise was to provide enough stock photographs to help build a practical website for the company to advertise their services.
Having accomplished this, I sought to provide an artwork that the team could use for further promotion in whatever format they chose eg poster, handbill etc.
The chequered box idea was already an image I'd used successfully on another project and this fitted this brief ideally.
By simply adjusting size and colour scheme and the kind donation of the company created logo, the artwork provides a foundation for future promotional activity.
